      • Hindi Diwas 2021: Online Celebration
        SHREE AGRASAIN COLLEGE, LILUAH, virtually celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14th September 2021. The students created a short video showcasing the value, importance and significance of Hindi language. In the midst of pandemic, this effort and interest of the students is truly commendable.      हिंदी दिवस 14 सितंबर 2021
        श्री अग्रसेन कॉलेज में प्रति वर्ष14 सितम्बर के दिन हिन्दी दिवस का आयोजन , कॉलेज के छात्रों और शिक्षकों द्वारा काफी उत्साह से किया जाता रहा है ।ये दिन हिंदी से जुड़े लोगों के लिए एक त्योहार के समान ही महत्व रखता है । कोविड के समय में भी ऑनलाइन माध्यम द्वारा कॉलेज के विद्यार्थियों के सहयोग से प्रतिवर्ष इस परंपरा का पालन किया जाता रहा है।इस वर्ष आयोजित हिंदी दिवस की झलकियाँ-
      • 9th May 2021: Rabindra Jayanti
        On the occasion of 160th Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, the Department of ARTS organised a virtual cultural programme as a tribute to the luminary on 9th May 2021. The students enthusiastically participated in songs,dances and recitation of verses composed by Tagore. The virtual programme also included an exhibition of paintings made by the students.
      • 14th September 2020: Hindi Diwas
        Every year, the college celebrates Hindi Diwas on 14th September with immense zeal and enthusiasm. Students eagerly participate in programmes that include a gamut of activities such as recitation, singing, drama, poetry writing, poster painting etc.. This year the ongoing pandemic could not dampen the spirits of our students. Keeping aside the impediments of virtual platform, the department of Hindi created a short video showcasing posters made by students of the department. The effort, though a small one, was truly commendable.
      • 29th March, 2019: One-Day seminar
        Dept of Commerce organised a One-Day Senimar on “JOB OPPOPTUNITY IN RECENT INDIA”. Resource person were Prof. Sudip Mukherjee (Assit Prof. Dinbandhu Mahavidyalaya), & anchored by Dr. (Ms.) Sirupa Sinha.
      • 21st February, 2019: Vasha Diwas
        Celebrating Vasha Diwas by morning shift students & faculty members on 21st Feb.
      • Feb, 2019: Unite to end terrorism
        Our college observed silent candlelight protests to condemn the horrific terror attack in Kashmir’s Pulwama by terrorists.
      • Annual Sports: February 2019
        February 6th & 7th college conducted the annual sports at college playground. Events were spoon race, biscuit race, musical chair, badminton, carom, shot-put, volleyball.
      • Agrotsav –The Fest
        The annual cultural programme “Agrotsav 2019” was held on 14th Jan, 2019 at SARAT SADAN Auditorium, Howrah Maidan. Various cultural events where the students showcased their talents.
      • 7th December, 2018: 15th Foundation Day
        This year also College celebrated its 15th Foundation Day at college campus.The students and staff members participated in the cultural programme. Prof. (Dr.) Dhruba Ranjan Dandapat, Dean of Commerce, University of Calcutta and Prof. (Dr.) Jadab Krishna Das, H.o.D. Commerce, University of Calcutta were the guests, along with the members of governing body. 2nd edition of the College magazine “PRATIBIMB-The reflection of Shree Agrasain College” was released in the gracious presence of the guests.
      • 13th October, 2018: Pre Puja Celebration
        Like every year, the college organised a cultural programme on last day before puja vacation to invoke the festive season, in which the students and staff members put up performances par excellence.
      • 14th September 2018: HINDI DIWAS
        The college celebrated HINDI DIWAS, in the presence of Shri Suresh Bhuwalka Ji (Media Spokesperson) and students and staff members.
      • Teacher’s Day Celebration
        Celebrating the Birth Day of Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan as Teacher’s Day on 5th September, 2018 at College Auditorium.
      • 24th August, 2018: Tree Plantation Ceremony
        “Sabuj Bangla”- the tree plantation ceremony was held on 24.08.2018 where Shri Mahabir Prasad Shroff (Chairman), Shri Sankar Kumar Sanyal (Vice-Chairman), Shri Kailash Mishra (Local Councilor) and Shri Suresh Bhuwalka (Media Spokesperson) along with College Students and Staff members planted trees to save nature and environment.
      • Contribution to Kerala Relief Fund
        On July 2018 the staff members and students of the college united in an effort to contribute generously to the Kerala Relief Fund- a small step towards helping the state to rebuild itself.
      • 30th June, 2018: Inauguration of Hindi Department
        The college inaugurated the Hindi department on 30.06.2018. The inauguration ceremony was attended by dignitaries Shri Shambhu Nath (Director, Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad) & Prof. Rajashree Shukla (HoD Hindi, CU) & Shri Surendra Singh (Editor, Sanmarg), who appreciated the effort of the college.
      • 19th June, 2018: Workshop on “Self Defence”
        Keeping in mind the recent rise in crimes against women, the college organised a workshop on self-defence for women on 19.06.2018 in the college premises. The workshop aimed at teaching self-defence skills that a woman can use to protect herself from assault.
      • Farewell to 3rd Year Students
        Like every year College organised a grand farewell for its outgoing students on 09.03.2018 in the college premises.
      • 20th March,2019 : BASANTA UTSAV
      • Convocation 2023
      • The college has organised a grand convocation and farewell for its outgoing students and pre-puja celebration in the college auditorium on 16th and 17th October 2023. The outgoing students were given University Certificate and a memento on behalf of the college. Arrangements were made to have a photograph of the students in academic attire and distributed to them instantly on the spot.
        Students and staff members, dressed in traditional attire, actively participated in the cultural programme comprising song, dance and drama.
      • 7th December, 2023, 20th College Foundation Day

    Shree Agrasain College, one of the pioneer self-financed institutions in the state, celebrated its 20th foundation day on 7th December 2023 at the college premises. Students and staff members actively participated in the grand celebration. The celebration began with a flag hoisting ceremony and garlanding of the statue of Swami Vivekananda and was followed by an inaugural song presented by the Teacher-in-Charge,  Sovonita Datta, and Prof.Dr. Nibir Goswami, coordinator of the morning shift. This was followed by the lamp lighting ceremony.To mark the special occasion a cake cutting ceremony was also organised. Addressing the students and the staff members, the founder and Chairman, Shri Mahabir Prasad Shroff, congratulated everyone and expressed his pleasure in reaching this milestone.He also spoke of his belief in “education for all” and how the college has been dedicatedly catering students with a conducive environment for holistic development irrespective of their potential or economic background.Prof. Dr.Nibir Goswami, coordinator of the morning shift, also expressed his pleasure and shared with the audience his experience as faculty member. The Teacher-in-Charge, Prof. Sovonita Datta, spoke on how the college that started with a handful of students in 2004, boasts of more than 2000 students now.

    A prize distribution ceremony was organised on this occasion where students and staff members were awarded for their achievements in the annual games meet. The categories included chess, carrom, volleyball and football.

    On this special occasion, Pratibimb, the trilingual college magazine was released in the presence of the Chairman, staff members and students. The college magazine provides the students with an opportunity to pursue their creative urges and innovative ideas and aims to bring out the latent talent in students and motivate them to pursue their creative flair. This was followed by a grand cultural programme that witnessed the enthusiastic participation of both students and staff members. The entire programme was conducted by Prof. Rini Goswami, coordinator of the department of Arts.
